FUN, STIGMA-BREAKING, ENERGETIC!! These are some of our team's words to describe this event! What an amazing experience to host and be a part of. As you entered the venue, you were guided through stunning photo op-worthy displays, DJs spinning in the background, and 100+ Licensed producers were on hand to showcase what’s new in their product lineup and to do what we all love most talk about weed! With KIND Talks, industry-chosen speakers are there to educate, innovate and inspire. Event goers got to sample their educational samples in the Plantlife Cannabis consumption lounge outside of Icehouse. What a vibe the area was, candy bags, music, cozy seating, and a subtle haze that lasted all day, An atmosphere only a stoner could hope for. The weather stayed amazing for all, but a perfect venue added to the experience, with some outside booths mixed with inside fun and food and beverages at the ready. WE MADE HISTORY PLANTLIFE FAMILY!! We sold cannabis at The Great Outdoor Comedy Festival in Edmonton. July 12-14th history was made in Alberta, you could buy and consume weed at a public event. We loaded up the cannabis and made some noise down at Kinsmen Park, offering the showgoers all kinds of options! The venue was equipped with a smoke session area The Gardens which remained a hotspot each evening! THC-infused Zele beverages, various Token chocolates, Papa Herbs Disposable Pens and Leisure Club gummies. The ability to grab your favourite Next Friday pre-roll or an infused Rizzler and head over to The Gardens consumption area to light up. Having different options at such an event is a historical shift for Alberta.&nbsp; An opportunity for cannabis users to comfortably consume! One of our Core Values is a commitment to Community, we have tried to uphold this as a company through Pet Adoption Days, Golf Tournaments, and other local volunteer opportunities. We recently hosted the Camrose Animal Shelter at the Plantlife Cannabis location there. This shelter houses mainly cats and is active in the community with many adoption events. We hosted the team On July 5th &amp; 6th, each day seeing 3 new cats in store. We had a lot of great conversations with guests, which led to more community awareness about the shelter here in town and many opportunities to make a difference. On August 10th, we will be at our Windermere Currents location with Edmonton’s HART (Humane Animal Rescue Team) hosting another pet adoption day with Dogs this round!
